    The Arkansas Department of Health offers prenatal care in numerous counties at Local Health Units. Services are provided at little or no cost and no one will be refused services due to inability to pay.

    Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program

    The WIC program provides nutritious foods to supplement diets, info on healthy eating, and referrals to health care for low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
